The aim of the training course is to increase the competences of social workers in identifying the needs of citizens and target groups of social services in the field of an integrated approach to community planning. During the course, the basic principles, procedures and legislative definitions of community planning will be discussed. Furthermore, the course will familiarize participants with the process of identifying the needs of citizens, target groups, users and social service providers, methods of data collection and analysis of outputs. Attention will be paid to the actors in the organizational structure of the integrated plan. Examples of good practice in the preparation, creation and implementation of community plans as a means of integrating the territory will be presented.
The partial aim of the course is to work with information sources to analyze the determination of key priorities according to identified needs. The participants of the course will build a Focus Groups scenario, the structure of the questionnaire and other methods for identifying the needs of citizens and target groups for an integrated approach in community planning. They will be acquainted with the possibilities of implementing the created community plan in a given area and will try to evaluate the evaluation of the community plan to determine its effectiveness in practice. Finally, there will be a discussion on future trends, possibilities and, if necessary, problems of integrated community planning.
