The project “Concept of Housing Development of the City of Turnov for the Period 2024 – 2034” aims to introduce a comprehensive approach to the systematic development of housing, covering all types and forms of housing for various target groups. The main objective is to develop the Turnov housing stock and support long-term strategic plans and investments in this area, including the preparation of new locations and housing projects. As part of this project, a thorough analysis of the current situation and trends in the field of housing will be carried out, which will make it possible to determine effective measures for the future development of the city. During the analysis, we will focus on collecting data on legislative and economic conditions, infrastructure capacities and social aspects related to housing. Subsequently, in the design phase, based on the acquired knowledge and modern principles of evidence-based policy, a strategy will be formulated that will be in line with European standards and recommendations. This strategy will include specific proposals to improve the quality of housing, develop new housing zones and optimize the management of the existing housing stock to meet the needs of all residents of Turnov.
