The subject of the project was obtaining information on the effectiveness of spatial planning tools created by legislation in Act No. 183/2006 Coll., on Spatial Planning and Building Regulations, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Building Act”) to ensure the requirements of sustainable development in spatial planning activities. The main objectives of the project were getting feedback on the effectiveness of new tools land-use planning leading to the fulfilment of the land-use planning goal, which is to create prerequisites for the construction and sustainable development of the area, and identification of the role of spatial planning as part of spatial management in the context of the challenges contained in the main European development documents.
