The sixth complete update of the Territorial Analytical Documents of the Moravian-Silesian Region focuses on the evaluation of the state and development of the territory in the context of sustainable development. The key output is the analysis of three pillars – a favorable environment, economic development and cohesion of the community of inhabitants – including their mutual links and identification of trends in the territory.
The processing also includes the identification of problems to be solved in the spatial planning documentation. These problems result from urban, sanitary, transport and other territorial technical defects, clashes of projects with the limits of land use and values in the landscape, but also from the need to better use the development potential of the territory and level the conditions between the individual pillars of development.
The textual part of the update respects the structure of the previous edition of the IAA and is based on currently available data and professional documents. It is also based on the results of the Territorial Study Settlement Structure of the Moravian-Silesian Region (update 2024). The results of the analysis serve as a basis for the creation and updating of spatial planning documentation and studies at the level of the region and municipalities.
