The aim of the research project (under project number TITBMMR103) is the setting of an indicator system for the evaluation of the vision and objectives of the Rural Development Concept (BLOOD), the quantification of default values of indicators and the evaluation of the image of the countryside. The project is the first phase of the BLOOD evaluation. In terms of content, two basic levels can be distinguished in the project: The first is to evaluate the achievement of part of the vision aimed at improving living conditions in the countryside. Evaluation of the status of these conditions will be based on an indicator system. The second level is the evaluation of the part of the vision aimed at improving the image of the countryside. The current image of the countryside will be evaluated through research methods based on the social constructivist concept of regions (in this case, the countryside will be understood as a typological region). For the evaluation, the collection of own primary data and their analysis through qualitative and quantitative sociological techniques will be used, as well as the content analysis of discourse, the aim of which will be to evaluate the relationship between the use of language (discourse) and social reality.
