The study aimed to map changes in the settlement structure of the Moravian-Silesian Region, identify expected development trends in their broader context, locate settlement centres, and identify areas exposed to residential and commercial suburbanisation. The settlement structure of the Moravian-Silesian Region is currently undergoing a significant transformation driven by a range of economic, social and demographic factors. The update analysed these factors with a focus on current territorial challenges. The study is available on the Moravian-Silesian Region website.
